Job Description

GoGroup is looking for an experienced Global Finance & Accounts Lead to drive and optimize our cross-border financial operations in Germany and India with immediate effect. In this key position, you will oversee our group-level financial model, ensure that all expenses and invoices are accurately handled, and manage founder-related payouts. You will also be responsible for preparing and renewing company contracts, structuring taxes, and maintaining compliance in close coordination with our internal and external accountants in both countries. Beyond the day-to-day, you will build scalable processes that setup accounting expertise for our portfolio companies in Europe by leveraging global talent. In collaboration with the GoGroup management and product teams, you will shape workflows, adopt AI-based accounting tools, and ensure timely filings—all while laying a foundation that can be replicated across other group companies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure up-to-date and compliant financial models.
• Co-ordinate with internal and external accountants in both countries.
• Manage payables and receivables at the group level, including founder payouts
• Handle taxes for the group and companies involved.
• Oversee invoicing processes.
• Prepare, maintain, and renew all company contracts.
• Structure taxes and ensure adherence to regulations.
• Streamline payment processes, including preparation of payment lists.
• Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities.
• Provide actionable insights to senior management through financial modeling and comprehensive reporting.
• Optimize tax, entity setup, and legal structures for the company.
• Facilitate engagement with cross-border interest groups between India and Europe.

Profile

• Strong understanding of international accounting standards (India & EU)
• Excellent skills with spreadsheets and ability/openness to adapt AI into day to day work
• Proficiency in financial modeling and accounting software
• Experience liaising with cross-border teams
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
