Julius Gerhard is Managing Director of TrustLane Solutions GmbH, the company behind the SAAS offering TrustSpace.

During his bachelor's studies at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, Julius gained foundational experience in banking and corporate finance. He completed his degree with a thesis exploring how resource constraints impact the competitiveness of German SMEs (Mittelstand). This research became a pivotal foundation for the creation of TrustSpace just a year later.

Together with his high school friend Masih Sediquian, Julius decided to delve deeper into the challenges highlighted in his thesis. Today, they and their team support SMEs in tackling one of the most critical and complex aspects of modern business: protection against the growing threat of cyberattacks and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards—all without requiring dedicated in-house resources.

Before committing fully to his entrepreneurial journey, Julius pursued a master’s degree in Innovation & Entrepreneurship at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. His time in Spain proved to be another cornerstone for TrustSpace’s development. It not only connected him with an inspiring network of students and entrepreneurs but also introduced him to Sascha Weiler, Managing Partner at GoGroup, during a guest lecture at ESADE.

Julius’s blend of academic insight, practical experience, and a passion for solving pressing challenges has positioned him as a driving force in supporting SMEs to thrive in an increasingly complex business environment.
