Helloparts brings together suppliers of automotive parts, workshops and car insurance companies on an efficient, three-sided platform.

Helloparts

When your car goes into a workshop after an accident, three parties have to agree before anything gets fixed. The insurer decides on the claim and where it goes. The workshop needs the right part, fast, at a price that works. The distributor needs to know what's in stock and what to charge. For decades that meant many phone calls, letters, emails, faxes, and a lot of waiting. helloparts replaced all this. Insurers steer claims through it's platform. Workshops order parts with one click. Distributors can run their inventory and pricing on it. AI makes the whole process even faster. Matching, ordering and routing that took days now happens while the car is still on the ramp. Today helloparts is involved in the majority of automotive aftermarket orders in Germany. Nobody outside the industry knows the name, because it never appears on the invoice. That is what a Hidden Champion looks like. It was started by Nico, one of GoGroup's founding partners, together with Stephan Otto, who had spent 25 years in the automotive sector prior to starting helloparts. Stephan knew which phone calls needed to stop happening. Nico knew how to build the thing that would stop them.

Introduction

When a car comes into a garage - after an accident, for example - various processes are triggered that are predominantly paper and legacy IT-based and have fallen out of time. In the interaction between the workshop, car parts dealer and any insurance company involved, there are delays, information asymmetries and ultimately cost factors that helloparts solves with a modern digital platform.

Directly integrated with car dealers

helloparts is integrated into the industry-leading Dealer Management Systems (DMS) in a variety of ways and always guarantees a simple user experience that eliminates the need for cumbersome process adjustments.

Proprietary technology

The innovative PartsChecker technology automatically checks whether an identified spare part actually fits the vehicle in question. This means that the majority of orders from suppliers can be processed digitally and automatically. The real-time query of price and availability enables better planning of workshop capacity utilization.

Bidirectional data flows

Thanks to the bidirectional integration with the leading suppliers, the workshop knows immediately when the required parts will arrive, which significantly improves repair and cost planning. At the same time, the dashboard always provides the workshop with the relevant key figures - transparently and comprehensibly.

A huge opportunity space for the helloparts team
The European automotive parts aftermarket is a vast industry valued at over 250 billion euros, dominated by both original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and independent suppliers. Progressive EU legislation has opened the door to transformative opportunities, enabling helloparts to revolutionize this sector through digital innovation. With over 70 million passenger cars sold globally each year in countless variants, the aftermarket is not only extensive but also inherently complex. Managing diverse data sources, ensuring data accuracy, and presenting it in an accessible manner requires advanced algorithms, a world-class software architecture, and seamless integration across a range of products.

Car workshops connected to helloparts can order all the parts they need online from their preferred parts suppliers across all brands - as easily as a conventional online order in the private e-commerce context.

helloparts minimizes the manual effort involved in ordering parts by integrating with the management system of the respective workshop and leading parts suppliers, who are otherwise contacted by telephone, fax or e-mail.
