After earning his MSc in Automotive Engineering from Hamburg University of Applied Sciences, where he received the prestigious Hans-Bohnsack Award, he launched his professional journey in the automotive sector with leading international companies like Mercedes-Benz and Ford. A particularly formative chapter of his career was his involvement in building the Smart brand and his work in Formula 1, where he channeled his passion for technology and precision.

Following professional stints in the United States and Spain, Stephan now resides in Switzerland with his family, where he has successfully balanced innovation with personal fulfillment. He is the co-founder and managing director of helloparts, a company that offers data-driven solutions for the automotive and insurance industries as well as a marketplace for spare parts. Additionally, he is an investor in Sinaxys, a Brazilian startup focused on integrating Brazilian healthcare professionals into the German healthcare system.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Stephan has been committed to social causes for many years. As a school board member at the German School of Barcelona, he has championed education and student welfare.
